This is my buddy Rusty.
He has been my most faithful friend for the last 6 years.
Good. Bad. He is always there for me and has even licked away my tears.
He's having surgery today to remove a potentially cancerous growth.
Please say a prayer for my little buddy...
Pray that the surgery will be painless, recovery easy and his body cancer free.
UPDATE:
Rusty came through the surgery very well!
They were able to completely remove the growth.
It will take from a week up to a month to get pathology results.
We are praying it is either non cancerous or surgery was curative!
Rusty is recovering pretty well, despite having ripped his stitches out walking upstairs.
He is soaking up the extra love, attention and cuddles.
